WOOD TURNING EXPERIENCE
I run wood turning experiences five days a week here at Bodden Cross Studio, suitable for beginners to intermediate wood turners. The Studio operates Wednesday to Sunday and we will aim to suit your availability.

Full details of the experience are as follows:
PRICE
£175 per day per person or £89 for half a day per person.
DURATION
The full experience day: 09.45 am to 5.00 pm, with a break for lunch.
Half days: 09.45 am to 1:00 pm, or 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
PARTICIPANT NUMBERS
Tuition is one to one, but I am always delighted to have people bring along a friend or family member to have a go too. I have three woodturning lathes so there are a maximum of three participants on the day.
WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE?
We are all different and work at different speeds, but typically in half a day you can expect to finish a small bowl for your peanuts, or a bigger bowl in a whole day.
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
Children over the age of 14 are welcome but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are welcome if you can let me know in advance.
REFRESHMENTS
Please bring your own packed lunch on the day. There is tea and coffee available all day included in the price.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
You will be supplied with appropriate safety gear on the day. The timber for your first bowl is included - all locally sourced from responsible accredited suppliers.
WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear clothes and footwear that you won't mind getting covered in shavings and you can be comfortable standing in all day. No open-toed sandals or flip flops please.
PARKING
We have off road parking for you in the yard. Just drive in and find a suitable spot.
